Hank Intven

Hank Intven, a partner at the Business Law Group McCarthy Tétrault, leads McCarthy Tétrault’s telecommunications practice. Mr. Intven is recognized as a leading advisor to business, governments and regulators in the telecommunications and broadcasting industries. He has advised a wide range of communications companies, private equity investors, financial institutions, regulators, governments and other clients on communications-related business, regulatory and policy matters in Canada and in more than 20 countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. LYA has collaborated with Mr. Intven on projects in Canada and abroad relating to consortium business arrangements, regulatory matters and wireless service licensing processes.

 

Daniel R. Vincent

Professor Daniel R. Vincent received his Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University in 1987. He was a Rhodes Scholar and received an M.A. from Oxford and a B.A. in History from the University of Toronto. Before joining the University of Maryland, he taught at the University of Western Ontario, the Department of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences at Northwestern University and at the California Institute of Technology. His main area of research is the application of game theory to trading environments. Professor Vincent has worked with LYA on a number of occasions providing specialized training and advice on game theory in the context of spectrum auctions and in support of development of expert evidence surrounding auction mechanisms.
